Detailed Itinerary of 6 days gorillas and wildlife safari:

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe Airport and Transfer to the Hotel and Shoe-bill at Mabamba

Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you’ll be greeted by your tour guide/GS Uganda Travel representative who will transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe, for checking,  Lunch and after then drive to Mabamba swampy area is only about s 20minutes drive away, It is also found at the edge of Lake Victoria and for birders that would love to see the birds in this area, wooden boats and or canoes to find these birds. This Island is commonly known for the Shoebill Stork that is said to keep hidden in the water weeds while waiting for the fish before they can actually get back into the deeper waters. Shoebills have their homes in Papyrus and will at times live on land however; the land has to oversee the waters.

Day 2: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park for boat and game Wildlife Safari.

After breakfast, you’ll embark on a scenic drive to Lake Mburo National Park, located in western Uganda. With a stop-over at the Equator line for photographic opportunity as well as an enjoyable and informative talk while testing Ugandan traditional cup of Coffee. There is an experiment done here to prove to you that it is surely the equator.  Lake Mburo National park  is known for its diverse wildlife, including zebras, impalas, elands, topis, giraffes, impalas, and several species of antelope and buffalos. Upon arrival, you can take a game drive or a boat trip on Lake Mburo to spot animals like hippos and crocodiles. The park is located in the southern part of Uganda and is easily accessible from Kampala.

During your visit, you can look forward to a range of exciting activities, including game drives and nature walks. Game drives are a great way to see some of the park’s most iconic wildlife up close, with zebras and giraffes often seen wandering the open savannah. If you’re lucky, you might even spot predators like hyenas.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for Gorilla Trekking

After breakfast, you’ll drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, famous for its population of mountain gorillas. The journey will take you through beautiful landscapes, rural villages, and tea plantations. Arrive in Bwindi in the evening and settle into your accommodation.

Day 4: Gorilla Tracking Experience Safari Tour Uganda.

Today is the highlight of your safari as you embark on a once-in-a-lifetime gorilla tracking experience in Bwindi Forest. Accompanied by expert guides, you’ll trek through the dense vegetation in search of one of the habituated gorilla families. Spending time with these gentle giants is a truly unforgettable experience. After the trek, you’ll drive back to Kampala/Entebbe, where you’ll be dropped off at the airport or your preferred location, marking the end of your 6 Days Gorillas and Wildlife Safari Tour Uganda.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kyambura Gorge and other wildlife species.

Trekking through the gorge’s lush vegetation, you’ll search for the habituated chimpanzee groups and observe them in their natural habitat. Day 6: Game Drive and Boat Safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Today, you’ll spend the day exploring Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most diverse parks. In the morning, you’ll embark on a game drive through the park, where you’ll have a chance to spot lions, elephants, leopards, hyenas, and a variety of antelope species. In the afternoon, you’ll take a boat safari on the Kazinga Channel, known for its high concentration of hippos, crocodiles, and diverse birdlife.
